Drew's Full Marathon

I figured out how I could be Drew's personal aid station and extremely obnoxious fan club at miles 10, 14, and 18.  By the end of the day I had blisters too ha ha.

My uncle Steve came last minute and ran the half marathon.  It was so fun to see him.  Way to go Steve-o!
Lots of support.  Thanks guys! We love you!

Saint George and Las Vegas Half Marathons

AFTER 13.1 FREAKING MILES............

Drew and his bro Dan

As you can see we have been very busy training and road tripping for our races. It's been way fun and so sweet being able to actually run in the same race together... now that I'm not pregnant and we both are in shape to run:)

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

I love you Drew! Last week we hit year mark numero dos. I'm so thankful for my sweet husband who has held my hand through some serious ups and downs over the past two years. He is my best friend and I could not have been given a better man. He has always been the rock and is such a good example to me. I love you babe. Happy Anniversary!

Gratitude

We are thankful...
Although we feel a lot of emptiness right now, we cannot deny that we have been blessed.  We pray each day that it might get a little easier for us to see things from an eternal perspective. We are thankful for what we do have and especially for the knowledge that we have been given.

I am also starting a blog for Nora.  These last few weeks have become really difficult for me for some weird reason.  I am told that sometimes that is the way grief is.  I have felt that for the most part I have been able to deal with having a stillborn baby fairly well, but I will honestly say that recently I am not doing good at handling my emotions. A friend of mine gave me the idea of expressing my emotions on a blog for Nora.  Please don't feel any obligation to read any of it, but I do think that it will help me to be able to express some of my emotions publicly.

We laugh about this pic because one of the license plates says "spud".  Drew always calls me Mrs. Potato Head because I grew up in Idaho :) So funny that the one directly behind me is so fitting...
